Tassie Snaps

The far NW tip of Tasmania is an amazing place to fish when the weather permits. In the warmer months it is a Kingfish and Snapper haven with ridiculous tides, current, sandbars and bommies everywhere. Extreme care needs to be taken when boating there and only experienced boat operators should even attempt it. I recently had a great trip and between my mate and I we managed 6 nice Snapper and 4 Kingfish along with some unwanted bycatch. Note to self - always take quality pics of your first Kings of the day as you may not catch any more! I can't wait to get back there!
