BPS Lake Simcoe Open

Canada's premier one day bass fishing tournament, known as the Bass Pro Shops Lake Sincoe Open, is hosted annually by the Aurora Bassmasters. This event continually sets new Canadian tournament records, and presentaly holds the record for the five heaviest bass ever weighed in during a Canadian tournament- at 31.5 lbs - brought in during the 2010 event. In that same tournament a 8.5 lb smallmouth was weighed in, and currently that is the largest bass ever known to have been weighed in during a Canadian Tournament.
