Pre-Spawn Bass Fishing in NY
Had a blast the first time out this year! The season is still closed in Ontario this time of year, so I decided to go check out a new lake in NY. The bite was slow, and the water was cold, but it was well worth it! Caught a few decent sized smallmouth on a 1/2oz. Green Pumpkin football head jig, and a Jackall DD Cherry craw pattern crankbait. The Humminbird 360 Imaging was the key to todays success. It helped me locate the transitions from sand to rock, and helped me key in on and position myself on little rock piles.
