Speckled trout = no skunk!

Paddled more than a few miles around a lake yesterday with no bites then this speckled trout saved my day. Working a Z-Man Minnow on a mixed mud-shell shoreline and got a tap on the other end. Set the hook and this speck felt small at first then took a big run making the drag scream. It was about then I went from standing in my ATAK 140 to sitting. It was so exciting seeing this big silver beast flipping and tail slapping. Measured 25.5" and 5lbs
