I'm expected to sit quietly and look pretty while the boys fish. I'm expected to ask you to tie my knots and bait my hook. But i'm not your reality. I will outwork, out hustle and out fish you. I'm not your fishing barbie. I have earned every single fishing spot and removed every hook. I have seen the sun rise and set from behind fish glazed eyes. I have called in sick and missed special occasions, just like you – for the one chance to catch the fish of a lifetime. I command respect on these waves and have earned the right to be called angler.
