Minn Kota Terrova I-Pilot
Mar. 13, 2012 2:58pm
Hi to all,

For those of you that spend more time fishing Smallies, Walleye, Pike and Musky you should consider some of the huge advantages to using an I-pilot over a conventional cable steer Minn Kota motor. I made the change to a Terrova 101 I-Pilot last year and have not looked back. The advantages this motor gives me fishing open water for Smallmouth bass are huge! Spot Lock allows me to sit on a piece of structure and not touch the motor at all, focus on fishing, culling, netting without ever moving more than 5'. Programing a route allows me to idle along a rock transition line using my Side Imaging and record it so all i have to do is stop the boat and the motor will follow the route back along that rock line without having to connect weigh points. There are several other advantages that I will go over in the next few days along with videos to explain them. Here is the first of several Videos.
Feel free to post any questions you may have to specific uses of the I-Pilot.

Enjoy,

Derek
