Jason believes in giving back to his community. He has supported the Kids Fishing for Charity Event the last 8 years helping raise thousands of dollars for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In 2011 he started a Kids Casting Event in his community and in 2012 began a fishing program for the Saint John, New Brunswick chapter of the Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Jason is a Professionally Licenced guide in New Brunswick and especially enjoys taking kids out fishing.

Over the last 14 years of competitive fishing he has accumulated a lengthy list of accomplishments.
