I have lived and worked in kamloops, BC for the past 36 years where for 30 years I worked as the regional fisheries biologist for the provincial government. My work was focussed on managing recreational trout fisheries in the southern interior region of the province. During the past 25 years I developed a secondary career as a fly fishing writer, video producer, lecturer, TV fishing show host and co-host and angling guide. I also work on behalf of the Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC in the area of marketing and promoting freshwater fishing in the province. I enjoy all types of fly fishing and I make regular trips to the Yukon and Northwest Territories chasing pike, lake trout, grayling and whitefish. I also enjoy chasing bonefish and tarpon in Cuba and Belize. During the spring and fall seasons I offer guided fly fishing trips out of my home city of Kamloops where rainbow trout and brook trout are the targetted species.
