Michael Baggett is currently the Fishing Division Leader of Bayside Adventure Sports (A large non-profit, over 650 anglers). He and his team lead trips throughout North America, provide guided bass fishing trips and teach hundreds of anglers every year methods, seasonal patterns, mapping, electronics and various essentials for successful fishing. Dozens of those anglers have gone into tournament fishing as a result of the teaching and coaching methods used.
To test his skills Michael fished the Future Pro Tour in 2009 and 2010 and won the challenging two day, two lake Future Pro Classic Championship and a Ranger boat in 2010. He shares numerous top ten finishes in large field tournaments of 100-140 boats/teams.
Michael bought his first bass boat in 1987 where he lived in South Texas. Later he moved to Southern California where he spent 14 years offshore angling and running the deck of a private sport fishing boat. Michael currently lives in the Sacramento region of Northern California where bass fishing comes first but chasing steelhead, and trout all the way up to Alaska with a fly rod is a close second.
Michael is a passionate and talented public speaker with deep love and appreciation for fishing. He very much enjoys the industry, the outdoors and the relationships that fishing develops.

Michael runs a Ranger 520 VX with a Merc 225, MinnKota 101, Humminbird 898c SI on the bow and a 998c SI on the console with Navionics Platinum Mapping.
