I've spent 28 years in Canada working in the electronics field. I performed calibrations and repairs in the aerospace industry as well as in the non-destructive-testing industry (NDT) . One of my main objectives was to maintain a personal relationship with our clients. I helped build the company to a multi-million dollar industry through commitment, honesty, and a certain pride when it came to customer service. I retired from the company when I was 44 and took up bass fishing on a professional level.



The United States is the land of the free to fish anytime, anywhere, anyplace (that is not designated off limits). I explored fishing through the state of Alabama for the first time in 2011. I had just finished my first season as a Co-Angler with the CBAF in 13th Place and in 2nd place with the Golden Horseshoe Bass Anglers. I purchased my first bass boat, a 2009 Ranger with a 2010 Yamaha 250 SHO Motor from FLW Tour Pro Scott Canterbury. Because of my knowledge of electronics, I upgraded the boat electronics with the top of the line Humminbirds. I replaced the single Pro Series Power-Pole with dual Signature Series Power-Poles with a remote. I recently purchased the HydroWave because the electronics of the system sparked my interest.


I moved to Lake Martin while exploring the waters in Alabama. I had six months to prepare for my Rookie season as a Professional Angler. In the process of learning I practice fished through BFL, FLW, Everstart and BASS events on Pickwick, Wheeler, Guntersville, Logan Martin, Lake Martin, Neely Henry, Lay, and Eufaula. I was a Boat Captain for the Alabama High School Bass Fishing Association season. Having been a volunteer for the College League in Canada did not prepare me for 20 teenage fishermen from Dadeville High School. When the season ended with a Classic Style drive up to the stage with boat tow show at Academy Sports, the Dadeville Team took honors for 5th Place for the Season.
I returned to Canada, after my FLW tournaments finished in Alabama. I missed 3 Canadian tournaments and still managed to finish my Rookie Season in the top 25 with the CBAF and the top 10 in the Golden Horseshoe Bass Anglers Club. I brought my future wife back to Canada with me.
Together we are an amazing marketing team who avidly seek to see that everyone has a fishing pole. There would be a lot less problems in the world if everyone went fishing.
