CSFL News: CSFL National Classic

2014 CSFL National Classic XVIII
Cameron Lake “ September 13 & 14
Garnet Graham Park, Fenelon Falls

2014 has proven to be an all around tough fishing season with the exception of a few events. This year's late winter has played havoc on the season and will continue to do so throughout this year's National Classic, which could potentially become the toughest Classic in CSFL's history. Cameron Lake will provide 23 teams one of the most balanced venues to compete for a purse exceeding $30,000 in cash and prizes, not favouring any individual or team, with no home lake advantage, making it truly anyone's game. As extreme cold fronts move in this may trigger the smallmouth bite. These elusive fish are the obvious target at this time of year however one should not underestimate the quality of buckets as numerous reports of huge largemouth sightings have been made. These green giants will not be overlooked as this year's field is made up with just as many anglers that can make a jig come alive. This event is all about skills that will allow an individual or team to rise to this year's well deserved National Classic championship title.
