Off to South America!

Hey everyone it was great seeing many of you down at the Boat Show! As you know my work keeps me on the move and the next 2 weeks is no different. Currently I’m in Brazil then off to Columbia and Argentina, I should be back on February 10th. Now I haven’t had any time to go Peacock Bass fishing although I’m in right area for it. I have however been still making the arrangements for the rigging of my new Ranger.
I decided to go with the Black 8-foot Powerpole Blade instead of the 10-footer. I really only use it in 6-feet or less so I have no real need for the 10-footer. As for Electronics I have decided to go with the HDS Gen2 units, both in the 8-inch version. I will have one mounted in the dash and another on a Ram mount at the bow. I will also have an HDS Gen2 5-inch flush mounted in the bow as a backup unit. Both units will of course have Down Scan and side imaging as well as a Sonic Hub for some tunes. The great thing is I will have Lawren Wetzel from Radioworld rig everything for me...he’s incredible at it. Plus I don’t think I could put any holes in my new boat....lol
It’s tough being on the road this much but between speaking to my family allot and thinking about fishing it keeps me sane....well almost.....

Peace Out
Dan

Right on man, I gotta check out the new rig come Spring. You upgraded
all 3 units with two on the bow...I haven't even upgraded to 1 unit
yet haha. Still rockin the old in dash Lowrance that came factory and
only works within 25 feet of the boat launch. Was looking at the
Lowrance Elite 5, anything larger would engulf my little 17'ers deck.
Have fun down South
