I ventured out last weekend on Lake Winnipeg in search of some fat walleyes. Fishing was slow but sure. Don't be scared to move around, especially when the fish aren't. If you drill enough holes you will find a few nice ones. Jiggin spoons tipped with minnows or a Gulp Minnow worked well. Ice is over 12", but lots of broken, jagged ice so be cautious and stay away from the pressure ridges for now. Be Safe and Good luck Fishing. AK
