Reel Used: SHIMANO
Rod Used: G LOOMIS AND SHIMANO
Line Used: POWER PRO, TRILENE, SEAGAR
Bait Used: STRIKE KING, FIN- TECH, JACKALL, VOK, WORDENS, SPRO, HILDEBRANDT, X ZONE
Well finished packing all my gear for the Classic. With over 20 rods and 3 BAGS OF GEAR, 2 EGO Nets, CAMERA'S, ELECTRONICS, 2 SETS OF NAVIGATIONAL MAPS, EXTRA LINE, EXTRA REELS, 2 SETS OF RAIN GEAR, HAND HELD GPS PLUS 2 ON BOAT, EXTRA BOAT BATTERY, EXTRA HOOKS, SWIVELS, JIGS, SNAPS ETC. I am ready. Preparation And organization is important when going out to fish a major tournament or just a fishing trip. Make sure you expect the unexpected. ALWAYS HAVE EXTRA OF WHAT EVER BAITS YOU THINK YOU MAY NEED OR ARE GOING TO WORK!!!!. I am not talking about one extra package or just 1 extra jerkabait. I am fishing 1 style of jerkbait from Jackall which is a DD Squrrel and I have 4 of them in just one colour to make sure that I will have enough for the week.

Document your daily fishing trips out in a journal. I record wind, temps, sky conditions, currents, times, depths, line used, weights used, how I presented the bait for the bite, gps co-ordinates, colours, speeds, locations, bottom structures in detail for areas as much as i can while out on the boat. With this info I can look on the map and try and find areas where I can repeat my pattern or patterns. A journal is very important and it information that you can refer to for years.

Well stay tuned for my daily reports when I come back to let everyone know what and how I did for the Classic.
