CURADO !

Reel Used: Curado
I have been fishing with Curado reels since a few years now and I wanted to talk a little bit about the CURADO G that was introduced by Shimano in 2011. This reel made a huge impact on the market and it still considered as one of the best selling reel these days. Last year Shimano did some changes to the body; the reel has kept the same innovative technology but because of the changes made to the body you now can get this reel for $160.00 instead of $200. The only thing that changed is the weight of the reel. You have something that performs at its best.
This reel comes with theses Gear Ratio of CU200G7 7.1:1, CU201G7 7.1:1, CU200G6 6.5:1, CU201G6 6.5:1, CU200G5 5.5:1. A nice little feature added was the color of the spool; a metal spool color means a gear ratio of 7.1:1, black spool for 6.5:1 and the silver spool for 5.5:1.
They also made a model 50 and 51 that weight only 6.9 ounces; this one allows you to cast much smaller lures. Another nice feature that we find on our 100 model is that the size of the spool is the same size as the 200 series. It holds a lot more line than any other regular 100 size reel. Go check all these interesting features at ww.shimano.com
Thanks again for reading me.
