Last Wed. was one of the nicest days I had ever experienced on Georgian Bay, an absolute amazing fishery especially when the weather was the way it was! The North GTA Bass Anglers & Orillia Bass Angler held a joined event with 16 boats. I was lucky enough to draw Jeff Gignac as my non-boater for this event. Jeff is a great young angler who with his regular partner, Jim McLaren will be a force to be reckoned with in the very near future.

Between Jeff and myself we were able to figure something out after a bit of a slow start. It was a great day of fishing with a Georgian Bay muskie thrown in for fun! Our fish came on stickbaits & topwaters, we managed to weigh in 21.68 lbs. to win the event. We probably threw back another 20 lbs. bag, Brian Rever & Tom Carr won the "Big Fish" honours with a fat 5.12 lbs. Smallie! There were also some nice Largemouth brought in to the scales as well!
