Day Out with Erik Luzak
Tri-Lakes ON
Aug. 4, 2012 5:12pm

Hello all!
I recently had the chance to get out on the water with Erik Luzak and I had a blast! We fished Tri-Lakes and got on the water at about 8:30 am! I was ready for the aweseome day to come! We started off fishing in Pigeon Lake and stayed there most of the day. We caught about 7 bass in Pigeon Lake, but some were very small. We fished around drop-offs, "the cane", docks and lily pads! When fishing the cane, docks and pads, I was using The Perfect Jig jigs and they were greeeeeeat that day! I hit a bunch of fish on them and lost a couple too. On the drop-offs, i mainly used senkos and also used them when we were fishing paralell to shore. I was never a good jig fisherman so this was a MAJOR jig fishing learning experience. At some point in the day, we went to Buckhorn Lake and fished some pads but with little luck. I really like fishing in Pigeon, especially with a jig around the cane! The day was hot and not that sunny, I couldn't have asked for a better day!
