Big Fish Tourney
Bellville
Jun. 26, 2012 4:47pm
Reel Used: Curodo
Rod Used: GLX
Line Used: 832
Bait Used: LUNKERHUNT
Home from the the BIG FISH TOURNEY in Bellville and unfortionally no cash, however its very hard to be to disappointed when we caught in the ball park of 35 bass with a good number of them in the 31/4 to 31/2 LBS range. We just couldn't seem to get any bigger than that. We saw a few that may have helped, just couldn't get them to bite. We got our fish on a bunch of different baits like 10 inch worm, lizzards and lunker sticks. Most of our bigger fish came on a 1/2 oz flipping jig with a lunkerhunt swiming jerk as a trailer. Throw it out as far as you can and simpley real it back to the boat nice and slow. I just wanted to say what a great format well run and I really hope to see more events like this in the future. now on to the next event on Cameron Lake this weekend for the BM100s. Never fished bass on this lake before, but I'm really looking forward to it. See you on the water.
