Hi Derek - just home from LaCrosse, Wisconsin where I spent this week
on the Mississippi River with Bassmaster Elite pros Bill Lowen and Ott
Defoe. Since the next Elite event is at Green Bay - and the northern
cutoff limit is Little Sturgeon Bay, Ott was keen to talk about the
patterns up there beyond the tournament boundary. Since it is north
of the tournament boundary, it wasn't off limits in terms of getting
info and discussing what works and what doesn't work there. No need
to tell you what we talked about. Ott has never done it before, but
he is pumped. Will be interesting to see if it works for him! I told
him I'd courier him some of the "you know whats" but that is an Elite
"no no" within the 30 day "gag rule. A friend. Gord
