FINALLY after dealing with rain for 2 years, the sun deciding to shine on us this year at the 2012 "Catch a Dream!" Kids Fishing Tournament! What a gorgeous day, Sibbald Point Provincial Park was a perfect venue for this awesome event, great launch facilities & a large reserved area for us to set up our BBQ's, CSFL stage & Everstart event trailer. Beautiful weather, fishing on one of the best lakes in North America, burgers, dogs, popcorn, candy floss, icees and prizes for everyone, it doesn't get much better than that!
We had a variety of species brought to the stage by our young anglers. Yellow Perch seem to the target species for most of our anglers, but we also saw pumpkinseeds, rock bass, bullheads, whitefish and even 2 bowfins come to the scales.
Many thanks & kudos to all the boaters, volunteers & sponsors who are all an integral part of making this event happen! We look forward to seeing everyone back next year as well as anyone else who wants to be part of something special and make a difference! |

event, we had the fun time out fishing and you worked tirelessly in
