We just ended our second AYA of the year and it was a tough one. We managed to be able to catch 7.30 pounds even and end up in sixth place. There was a key ingredient to our successes on the water today and that was the Berkley Shad scent. This is what we felt helped us being able to get some of the more lethargic fish to bit. We did manage to catch a 26 3/4 inch fish but their is a slot size in Manitoba that only allows us to bring in fish that measure 27 3/4, this was a hard fish to let go.Like I said it was a tough day of fishing and the weather made it even more tough with lots and lots of rain! It was an awesome tourney and the volunteers did a great job and along with all the sponsors!
