Almost Time
All with Bass In it ON
Jun. 14, 2012 7:54am
Reel Used: Shimano
Rod Used: Shimano
Line Used: Power Pro
Bait Used: Assorted
Well as most of you know its almost time for the fisherman's Christmas day which is the Bass Opener. I really can't wait and I am starting to lie awake at night thinking of great catches from years past and also what the future holds for 2012.

Now is the time to make sure that all your gear is ready to go. Go through all your rods and reels and make sure they are in working condition. Get new line on the spools and also make sure you carry atleast one spare spool of line with you just in case for emergencies.

Go through your gear and sort it out so its organized and also to make sure you have what you need for the upcoming season. Make a list of items that need attention or to be purchased and do it NOW!!!! Don't wait for the night before and realize that you don't have what you need or that an item is in need of repair.

One more thing is to create memories and enjoy this sport of fishing that I truly love. Go fishing with your mom or dad, family member or friend. Some of my fondest memories are with my dad fishing when I was young and also now every time we go out fishing. When I fish tournaments its such an adreneline rush and the good and bad times, the wins and losses are memories which I treasure and also have learned from.

Please enjoy the season and respect our resources so our younger sports people will have a fishing resource and memories to share of there own,

Back to the tackle room to get ready. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

a dozen times already and the lines have waiting for over a month to
get wet. Good luck to everyone, be safe and enjoy every second of the
