First I'd like to thank the Quality Inn in South Hill. They've ignored me in their back forty charging my batteries and sleeping. Everyone I've met has been really friendly and I'm having an awesum time down here. I caught today! Two fish that I kind of cut off of the picture but they had some weight. Everyone I've talked to says 15 lbs/ day will win this, even one 3 pder and 4 14 inchers, so they all tell me. Today I fished my strength and that's shallow and it paid off. I skipped senkos to the gnarliest cover I could find, trolling motor on full and I caught 15, 10 keepers. Need to expand on what I've found today and then fish the areas deeper to see if they're on the drop off. Thankfully I feel I can weigh 5 fish now, lol. I'm hard at her and I've still got time. A Basshead told me today the only thing he could catch on was a clackin rap......I love lipless cranks so we'll see if they produce a bit deeper. The problem is 2 ft visibility so anything like wood thats deep is just a crap shot. Anyway it was a good day and I'll be fishing hard till the 14th. If I hammer them I'll post it!!!!
