The boys from Elliot lake came down to pay me a visit over the past weekend here in Huntsville. We stayed at the beautiful waterfront chalets owned and managed by the Portage Inn here in Huntsville. It was two nights and two full days of good times with great fellas.

The guys from elliot lake are usually working really hard so it was good all the guys could come together for the two days.

I was a pleasure fishing with them. Although I missed the Cache Bay pike tournament, it was well worth it meeting such a great group and catching some fish on my home waters. We were using mostly Berkley lighting, and Berkley Musky Tactics rods spooled up with 14lb Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon. Most of our luck came on Sebile Magic swimmers, Sebile spinnerbaits, and of course the trusty Berkley Gulp minnows on the drop shot. Most often the Black Shad pattern.
