Well you wouldn't use a putter to drive a golfball, why use a spinning rod and reel to try to pull a bass out of the thickest cover. So use the proper tools for the job! LINE - 6 lb. to 12 lb. fluorocarbon line
WEIGHT - 3/8 to 1/2 ounce dropshot weight
HOOK - 1/0 dropshot hook
You don't need a rod for every application listed. You can use one rod for multiple techniques. Go through the list and find the similarities and try them out.
