Thank you for listening each week to the Renegade Bass Fishing Show on the Team 1200. This week we have an awesome show and as the title suggests, we are all about Sharks, both saltwater and freshwater. Undoubtedly the most famous and rightfully so Blue Shark Charter Captain is Art Gaetan out of Halifax Nova Scotia. Art is the Charter Captain to the stars having hosted Izumi, Mercer, Viola and a bunch of the American boys over the past few years. This Shimano Pro Staffer, the owner of Blue Shark Charters offers a catch, tag and release fishing adventure off the coast of Nova Scotia. He also caught and released the world record Mako Shark. Art a former Naval Officer is joining us to share his experiences in pursuit of sharks as well as describing the extensive scientific research that his team is involved tracking these incredible animals.
As always Big Jim delivers with the most interesting guests. This week we are very fortunate that Rob Jackson more famously know as "RJ" was able to take time to talk about Gar. "RJ" one of the great multi-species anglers is the Ontario Record holder for Gar Pike and he will identify his method for tracking down this otherwise elusive freshwater shark.
Part of the rites of spring is the attention that we demonstrate to our beloved tow vehicles following the harsh salty winters of Canada. Detailing our trucks is par for the course but needless to say as individuals we are forever customizing our rigs for both form and function. Peter Gard a Renegade Bass Pro, and partner of Goldwing Autocare will be joining us to talk about the importance of keeping our vehicles professionally clean. And as always Peter has his personal list of goodies including go-fast go-cool and now go-eco accessories for our rigs.
On the Berkley Tackle Tip this week, I wanted to share one of the coolest accessories that Izumi put me onto. make sure you listen-in to find out how this inexpensive tool will make your life easier and stronger.
Please keep the questions rolling and the new guest ideas flowing. We always mention you directly if production of our show was your idea. Thank You
