Given the chance to speak with a Pro, what question would you ask?? Now what would you ask Bass Elite Series Douglas Lake Champion Jeremy Starks. Listening to Dave Mercer this past weekend and his genuine respect and admiration for the Pros he interviews each week, made it abundantly clear that each of us are huge fans. So much so that when given a chance to meet one of these guys we are often star struck and wished we had a second chance to ask something, intelligent, funny, outrageous even!!
Well here's your chance, we are putting together a quick-fire list of questions to ask Jeremy Starks who became a two-time Elite Series Champion with his victory at Duncan Lake this past weekend. He came from behind to beat out the best anglers on the planet including Britt Myers, Aaron Martens, Dean Rojas and the hugely popular Ott Defoe. Even more amazing was the fact that he did so fishing only a half day on Thursday because of a medical emergency. Jeremy will be my guest on Renegade Bass Radio this coming Saturday and we want to ask him your questions!!
So NPS lets get creative, funny and insightful. The questions can be fishing related, and of course informative. But a great non fishing related question may tell you a bit more about the man than you may have otherwise known. Don't hesitate to repeat a question as this will help us choose the ones that you guys want to hear!!
Come join our 50,000 listeners live Saturday mornings from 7-8 am on The Team 1200 (am), or via the web at www.team1200.com.

With many recent NHL anglers participating in a variety of bass
angling events (Johnny Bauer, Nik Antropov, Owen Nolan and more), how
about quizzing Jeremy on part of our Canadian culture, that being
hockey? Especially with the playoffs in full swing now - Los Angeles
and Phoenix have more to offer than outstanding bass angling
opportunites.

Because objects are blurry up close, I have been using my reading
glasses for the last little while for tying knots, modifying lures,
inspections and so on while I'm on the water. Problem is, it's a
hassle switching between my polarized glasses and my reading glasses
throughout the day. Recently, I purchased a pair of Berkley polarized
bifocal sunglasses and I've been happy with them (especially because
one cannot see the bifocal lines from the outside). My question is,
what is your experience and/or the buzz you hear on the BASS
tournament trail on how some of the pros deal with this vision issue?
Is there a recommended brand that the pros go to?

Paul, great post and you are so right when you have a chance to talk
to one of these pro's you star struck and wish you had that second
opportunity! I will be sure to listen to you this weekend and I am
sure it will be an interesting show as all the other shows you do.

Hey Pepe, Given your desperation why don't I ask this good'ol boy how
to fix the Maple Leafs. I doubt that it could be any worse than what
Burke's doing. Maybe he would encourage you guys to trade Rask to the
Bruins. Oh wait you guys already did that!!!

@Dominic,
I hear you, a number of us are having issues seeing with the same
precision as we once did. Clearly it must have something to do with
the shrinking of our clothes and the migration of our hair. I don't
need them yet but readers will soon be part of the program.
What I find amazing are the guys that can see fish in the water from
miles away. I had a partner like that and out of frustration I use to
just say yes when he asked me if I saw the fish lol. Clearly for the
guys fishing beds, great vision would be a huge advantage.

I think my question would go something like this! Sort of cliche but
very interesting to say the least.
Jeremy after having Bassmaster Elite success currently and hopefully
in the future what tips or words of wisdom would you give an up and
coming angler who some day desires to stand at the podium like
yourself?
Id also ask him how hard it was to get to that level and ask how much
work it actually took! (Sleeping in truck, Losing before winning, and
potential breaks he had along the way) just as a few examples.
Also ask him when did he know he officially made the pros. Id ask him
when did he know he had reached that level, and why?
