Light bite
lake o trib ON
Mar. 4, 2012 2:53pm

Today I was joined by a couple nps amateurs out on a local trib and wow did we have fun.
The bite started off a little slow as the water was in a transition from the high water conditions yesterday, so we had to locate the fish and where they were sitting in the pools. When we did find them we noticed it was not an aggressive bite so smaller floats were needed as well, as they were very finicky on what they were hitting as well.
Many fish were caught between myself and other amateurs today using roe bags that were bright in color.
But to my surprise I was lucky enough to catch a spring time brown trout today, it was a fresh fish as it had not started to color up yet.
Bait of choice today was roe and trout bead.
My : Rod Choice was a StreamSide Steelheader Custom 13 Foot float fishing rod.(Model Number FS1302 IM 8). This rod had the power to turn those big fish of the weekend and land them quickly.
Main line was 8 lb trilene XT to a 4 lb lead line
Tightlines and have fun
And Thank you
