Wake Bait Please

I recently posted a report on using the new 2015 Storm Arashi Wake Bait for large mouth. This new Wake Bait by Storm is also deadly on smallmouth. I went out last night for a fish targeting smallmouth and they were smashing the Arashi Wake Bait. I had a few hit so hard they set the hook themselves and were taking drag off the hit. There is not a better way to catch smallies than explosive top water hits. I was using the Arashi on a Concept 7'1 Med/Hy, R-TYPE 2500 sinning reel spooled with Sufix 832 6/20 ghost. I also run a 14 lb mono leader for three reasons. 1 to keep a bait from swinging around and catching the hooks 2 a shock absorber for hard hits and 3 mono floats keeps your topwaters up higher with more creates more action.
