Summer steelhead easy limits

This trip was another successful day. we seen many steelhead. They were so aggressive with the low clear water conditions. Beads, jigs, spinners, rubber worms and bait all produced fish today. Light line 8lb. flouro with 30lb. braid and clear drift floats size 1 owner hooks. most fish were taken in deeper water right under the oxygenated bubble line. Had one jump about 6ft out of the water and land right in a tree overhanging the river. Had another break off around some logs to only find it 30 seconds later stunned. I rowed over and netted the fish. sometimes the fish don't always get away after getting away. What an amazing hatchery fishery this has been.
