February 20th 2012
An afteroon outing with my son Paul and Alison Hughes.
Location: Niagara River
Tackle : - 9' G. Loomis IMX casting rod, 6 to 10 lb light/moderate action.
- Shimano Curado 201-E7 reel.
- The main line was 10 lb P-Line mist green halo 100% flurocarbon with a 6 lb leader
- Pink roe bags did well in the low visability water conditions.
Tough to beat this great combination for drifting in current waters. Very nice afternoon in the beautiful Niagara gorge.
